Peter Kay and Cathy Cearns are specialist property lawyers who have worked together for over 20 years.

Since forming Cearns Kay in 2011, they have acted on a variety of matters, from garden licences in Mayfair to industrial estates in the Midlands.  Transactions have ranged from a plot sale at £150,000 to a west end retail disposal in excess of £80 million.

Cathy Cearns, Partner
Cathy graduated from Queen Mary University, London and and qualified as a solicitor in 1999. She had previously been a partner in a City law firm before forming Cearns Kay. Cathy spends her free time trying to keep up with her 13 year old son.

Peter Kay, Partner
Peter obtained his LLB at Nottingham University. He had been a Partner and Head of Property in City Law Firms for over 20 years before forming Cearns Kay.  Peter spends his free time supporting his rugby club, London Irish.
